I love the holiday season.  The holidays remind me of family, friends, fun and decorating.  Decorating the house during the holidays is a must for me and something I enjoy doing every year.  So, attending Momtrends’ Holiday Decorating bash this week was a treat.  The event was hosted by Nicole of Momtrends.com and held at The New Traditionalist showroom in Soho, NYC.  I had the luxury of being entertained in an amazing space  with furniture throughout that screamed traditionally cool, the two things this brand connects.  The showroom was decorated with a holiday theme by Dawn and Elizabeth from partyblueprintsblog.com.  They shared a little holiday decorating 101 with us and I fell in love with their winter white holiday table (see pics below).  I also had a chance to meet some fabulous designers of children’s clothing, a line of 100% whole grain cookie dough from Sweet Loren’s (so so good), wines provided by Wines by Wives and a husband and wife team that created the new “it” word game (separate post on that coming soon).

Although there was much to see at the event, I originally attended  the event for the holiday decorating tips, so I tried to capture on camera as many cool holiday ideas as possible to share with you all.  The ladies of party blue prints blog made everything look so easy to do.  I will definitely be reading their new book that I scored a copy of in my goodie bag and trying some of their decorating ideas.  I’m actually leaning towards a couple of DIY Holiday Craft videos soon.  Look out for those soon!

Check out my pictures from the event below.  What’s your favorite holiday decorating idea from the pictures below?  Do you enjoy decorating for the holidays?  Are you a DIY kind of person?

Hanging out with mommy bloggers Gayle and Scherrie (ThirtyMommy.com). Sweet Loren’s had some yummy treats for us to try.

Here are some simple & amazingly festive holiday decorations for the home designed by Dawn and Elizabeth from PartyBluePrintsBlog.com.

Dawn and Elizabeth introduce us to the winter white holiday table. The pictures don’t do the table justice.  It’s was gorgeous!  Plus check out their book Plan to Party.

Some cool but traditional room designs from The New Traditionalist. Their showroom is absolutely inspiring.
