It’s Fashion Friday and I headed to Macy’s for a little Spring fashion with Daisy Lewellyn, the Queen of Effortless Chic. After celebrating her 10 Year Anniversary in fashion she released a shopping guide entitled Never Pay Retail Again: Shop Smart Spend Less Look Your Best Ever. I was excited to attend this event because I’ve actually been watching Daisy’s “Star Style” webisodes on Cocoa Fab TV for several weeks now. She has a vibrant personality and the ability to take you from drab to fab and all at an affordable price. So, when I heard she’d be hosting the Spring Essentials Fashion show at Macy’s I was there. Thank you to the Everywhere team for sending me.
The Spring Essentials show took place at Macy’s in the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, NJ. Daisy focused on showing us 5 essentials for Spring that can work for every woman no matter shape, size or personality. Her five essentials to look out for this Spring were Pull Overs, Peplums, Lace, Printed Pants and Dresses. Oh, and color is something Daisy wanted us to know we should not be afraid of. There are so many ways to add color into your Spring wardrobe, even if you’re not a color kind of gal. From your shoes all the way to your makeup, a hint of color can be added in. I chose a few of my favorite looks from the show.
All of the clothing, many separates, from the show are available at Macy’s or Macys.com. Daisy Lewellyn was wearing a gorgeous dress from the Rachel Roy collection Rachel. For the models, Daisy chose pieces from I.N.C., Bar III, Michael Kors, Style & Co., Calvin Klein, Jennifer Howard and more. You can purchase any of these pieces at a Macy’s near you. Visit Macys.com to find the nearest Macy’s or to shop online.
What are your Spring Essentials? What are you most excited about this Spring when it comes to fashion? Are you feeling any of the looks from below?

These looks were all about peplum. Peplum is one of my favorite looks, however I haven’t found the right peplum look for myself. I have to mention I’m in love with the yellow leather peplum shirt worn by the model Tricia from I.N.C.
Daisy talked about the pullover look. It’s an easy, comfortable and affordable look.
Don’t forget about adding a little lace into your wardrobe this Spring. You can even add lace in your shoes. Check out Zoriah’s (model) shoes, they have lace.
Dresses are essential for travel or for going out to dinner this Spring. Tricia and Zoriah model two comfortable but pretty dresses.
