Polka Dot What!  Don’t you just love the name?  It’s absolutely adorable just like the leggings the company sells.  Leggings can be a little girls best friend because of the comfort and style.  But Polka Dot What leggings aren’t just any leggings they are fun leggings designed by the very girls that wear them.  That’s right, your daughter, niece or grand daughter can design her own leggings according to her very own personality.  As a teacher I can appreciate when children are allowed to express themselves and that’s exactly what Polka Dot What allows little girls to do.

The idea behind the line is to spread more creativity, happiness, confidence and self-esteem among kids by turning a popular clothing item into a fun and interactive design piece.  It’s an interactive shopping experience for girls ages 2-10.

I had the opportunity to meet the CEO and Creative Designer behind the line, Zani Suttle, at the Fashion Forward Conference last week.  She’s so sweet and passionate about her line and giving back to those less fortunate.  Polka Dot What has teamed up with the non-profit organization the Lunchbox Fund, which provides daily meals to very poor and at-risk school children in South Africa.   For every one Polkadot What legging creation and purchase, $1 will be donated to the Lunchbox Fund to provide a daily meal to two children at a township school in South Africa.  I love this line even more now and I can’t wait to enjoy this interactive shopping experience with my 6 year old niece.  I’m excited!  For more information on Polka Dot What and to Shop, Click Here!
