It was an adventure this past weekend at the Field Station Dinosaurs attraction in Secaucus, New Jersey. I went on a family adventure with my Godson, his mom and my friend Scherrie from Thirtymommy.com and her family. We had a Dinotastic time! Okay, I couldn’t resist making up that word. It was just too perfect. I’m always talking about hands on learning with my students and family, but this adventure to Field Station Dinosaurs was the best hands on Science/Dinosaur experience I’ve ever had. I think I may have enjoyed more than the kids. Naaay, I think we all loved it a lot. There was so much to see and experience. What I loved the most was that you could really plan out your adventure with the kids. You could do research, fun findings, an adventure journal or just have a day of pure fun with the kids. Since it was our first trip to the attraction, which is basically like going to the zoo, we just let the kids have fun. Reading the names of each Dinosaur was fun all in itself. So, what is there to do at Field Station Dinosaurs? You can be amazed at the animatronics dinosaurs, attend one of two shows, pet the baby dinosaurs walking around the park with their special Field Station Keepers, check out the 3D Dinosaurs alive show, dig for fossils, have a family lunch at Dino Burger and much more.
