A Little More About Monica J Sutton
Hey, I'm Monica
I’m an early childhood behavior specialist and influencer who loves the water (swimming, kayaking, snorkeling), dancing (just turn up some Beyonce) and family time (game nights are the best nights).
My Journey!
A native of New York City, a Queens girl, Monica J graduated from Seton Hall University in New Jersey, Go Pirates!, and then headed back to NYC for her graduate degree at Mercy college. A true city girl and also a lover of quiet weekends and long drives, she decided to continue teaching in NYC and live in New Jersey.
Teaching & Educating
Monica J has been an early childhood special education teacher for over 18 years in New York City. Over the course of her career she created a blog and resource website for parents, reviewed children’s products, hosted several children’s events (her signature PlayDay), facilitated intimate parent panel conversations and more. In 2018 she launched monicajsutton.com as a new community for modern moms, of young children, who are looking for a new ways to connect with their children and understand their behaviors.
