Happy Kid’s Fashion Friday!  Fashion Fridays are back on So family and today we’re kicking it off with the Stride Rite Spring 2014 runway show at petiteParade’s Kids Fashion Week.  Last weekend in New York City was the oh so chic and fun petiteParade’s Kids Fashion Week and the mini fashion kids were out.  This is my second Stride Rite show and I was definitely looking forward to it.  They always allow the kids to be kids and have fun on the runway. As one of my favorite children’s brands they did not disappoint with their Spring 2014 line-up.  Not only did they showcase Stride Rite shoes, but they also featured some of the top brands they sell in their stores and online.  Kids walked down the runway in fun brands Saucony, Merrell, Nordstrom, Sperry and Keds.

This Spring children can expect to see lots of color, classic shoes and fun in a Stride Rite near them.  As a teacher, I’m always reminding parents to purchase sturdy shoes or sneakers for their children to wear during the school day.  I loved the versatility of color that the Saucony brand is offering for Spring 2014.  The thick shoe laces make it easy for kids to tie their own shoes and the colors make them fun.  Watch the So family TV recap video directly from the petiteParade Runway in New York City.

As a trusted children’s brand that has been around for over 90 years, Stride Rite offers quality and affordability for families.  I remember always heading to Stride Rite a couple of weeks before school started when I was a child.  My mother always picked up my favorite Mary Jane shoes from Stride Rite.  It was a staple brand in my house and that tradition continues with my nieces and nephew.  I’m sure once I’m a parent I will be heading to a Stride Rite near me to pick up shoes for my mini-me.

Do you shop at Stride Rite for your children’s footwear?  Did you know that you can shop at Stride Rite online?  What’s your favorite look from the pictures below?  For more information on Stride RIte and to stay connected visit their website, www.striderite.com.
