Today the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled Step2’s children’s riding toy due to a fall hazard. All consumers of this product should stop usage immediately. There have been four reports of incidents resulting in head bumps, a minor concussion and cuts to the gum and lip of one child’s front teeth. Children who lean forward on the seat of the toy can go over the handle bar and hit the ground.
This product was sold at Target stores and other retailers between January 2012 through August 2012 for $25. Consumers can get a replacement toy from Step2 .
